Alrighty, I finished it. This was meant to be a remake of an image of mine I made a few years ago that some of you may remember.
The idea behind the original picture was a "what if?" scenario where Wesker won at the end of Resident Evil 5. The idea behind this one is more of a continuation of what happens at the end of RE6. The game ends with millions of people, in the most densely populated country on Earth, exposed to the C-Virus. Realistically, there's no way the BSAA or the US government would come up with enough of the vaccine made from Jake's blood to stop the spread of infection from going worldwide. Wesker's dream pretty much came to life. So here we fast forward to Jill Valentine fighting with remnant Neo-Umbrella forces in some ruined city that had been bombed to hell after it was overrun.
That second Valentine's Day image I mentioned should be up tomorrow.

addendum: Alrighty, second Valentine's Day picture is up

Huh. Had to look it up, but yeah, nowhere is it mentioned that Agent works for the BSAA. Lotta people mistakenly refer to him as such, though. Probably due to the gear.
Still, technically he could be said to be working with/for Ada Wong, so I don't think he'd be Neo-Umbrella. Though you never know, I guess, considering that he was sort of tacked onto the franchise.
I thought it was a digital painting at first sight! and this composition... damn!
I agree about it no longer being about horror, but I understand why it's that way. Plot-wise, action is the only course of action if Capcom intends to keep using the same characters. For the first few games horror made sense because the characters, like the player, were experiencing the monsters for the first time. By now the players and the characters pretty much have zombie/monster killing nailed down. If Capcom wants to send RE back to survival horror, they need new characters, preferably ones that aren't soldiers/cops or acquainted with crazy monsters.
