Another planet, another fallen city. Will they have what it takes to turn the tide or are they continuing to only postpone the inevitable doom?

The following is by
The warriors rally for extraction on the outskirts of the doomed city, just in time to see the falling curtain of death and woe close on this once shining beacon of humanity. The groans of the Reapers in the distance sing a tale of despair and death to come, sending a cold shiver down the spines of the survivors. For the companions, this is a day of infamy, one that will haunt them for the rest of their lives. As their evac comes screaming out of the ash filled sky, each one takes something different from the past few hours.

Prepare for unforseen consequences.

Editing explosions sucks. Editing laser beams sucks too. I think I got the explosion to look somewhat decent, but the Reaper energy beam still looks lame. Also, I've decided to add more characters from the same universes as the guys here since I'm running out of available characters from other fictional universes(characters available in GMod that is). So expect things like a certain four-jawed individual, a certain fan of calibrations, possibly a certain clone squad leader, etc.

First time I saw it, Gordon Freeman ripped a hole in the space-time continuum. It was an accident, but still. Oh, and the next time I heard it, and then Dr. Vance's brain was sucked out by an Advisor. And given the timing of that, it may have also appeared just before the Polaris disappeared.
